Expanding the Brook Run Trail System
Checkout this video from one of my recent Meet & Greets on Putting Dunwoody First by expanding the Brook Run trail network. I also apologize to the homeowners adjacent to the park who had and still have serious concerns with flooding and protecting their homes and property. And I talk about how we need to put SAFETY as the number one criteria in how we choose to spend our transportation dollars. We can Put Dunwoody First by creating a city where every child can walk or ride their bike safely to school.
We can Put Dunwoody First by creating a city where motor vehicles aren’t driving 10 miles per hour over the speed limit; and motorists STOP for pedestrians at crosswalks.
I founded Bike Walk Dunwoody and every item posted on the website was authored by me. Every call to action to improve walking & biking conditions and plans was initiated by me.
I have a proven & established track record over the past decade + in helping our city become a safer place to get around via human-powered means. As your next Dunwoody District 2 At-Large Councilor, I’ll be ready on day one to put my experience to work for you, implementing the approved plans currently collecting dust on the shelf.
