Revitalizing Dunwoody Village - TODAY

Watch this short video from a recent Meet & Greet when I was asked, “What is my plan to revitalize the Dunwoody Village?” where I outline some steps we can take TODAY to create a human-scaled Dunwoody Village, activating the very HEART of our community for our families & friends to enjoy - every day of the year.

And what about that vacant lot on Mt. Vernon & Chamblee Dwy? We could acquire it and turn it into a lovely “Welcome to Dunwoody” gateway to the city: A pocket park, green space, water feature, pollinator flower garden, fruit trees, clock tower. Just use your imagination.

I also support new zoning to restrict any more banks. Which has legal precedence.

Now is the time to take action on the plans under consideration to revitalize our city. As a member of city council, I will put Dunwoody FIRST, and be a strong advocate for preserving, protecting and enhancing our neighborhoods and our community. #TeamJoe4Dunwoody Early voting starts 10/14 at the library.
